Abdominal pain

I have had abdominal pain since this morning and has gotten worse. Doesn't hurt if I don't move but lying down and sitting up is excruciating with pain, walking and movement also hurts but not as much as sitting up.

Could this be appendicitis?

If you have excruciating pain and suspect appendicitis, you should be making an emergency appointment or go to A & E.

Go to A&E..it could be an emergency. Might you be pregnant? might is be an ectopic, or perhaps a leaking ovarian cyst ?..either way you need to be inspected by a doctor asap. Call the NHS direct phone number and they may send a Doc out to you but if you are able to move and can get someone to give you a lift to hosp that would be the best and quickest option as they have the equipment to scan you and can give you appropriate pain relief and treatment.

Did you find out what was wrong with. You Though? I ask as my friend has had the same symptoms for nearly two years, he is in constant pain in his lower abdomian.He has had quiet a few scans .one has said he has a fatty liver,he has always been a drinker.The specialist is trying to get him in the mri scan but he claustrophobic. .Anyone got any ideas what he has please..xx
