Can endometriosis come back after having a baby?

First took endometriosis when a was 15 now 24 I had all sort of treatment 4 laps but managed to have baby 10 months ago but last couple of months periods have been worse than before and pain is unbearable again just like before I had mollie but was to havin baby would clear the endometriosis z

There is no cure for endometriosis. Pregnancy doesn't cure it, it just pauses it while you are pregnant then breastfeeding. Once all that is done and you are back ovulating again the same hormones are telling the endo to bleed when you have a period and that blood irritates the neighbouring tissue and that causes the pains.

The only way to get rid of endo is to have surgery to remove each lesion or patch of endo when it starts to cause problems. This can go on for years and years.

As it feeds on oestrogen all we can do aside from surgery is to have treatments to cut back the oestrogen.

It's an old wives tale to say pregnancy cure endo. Perhaps some untrained Doctors still think that, but they are probably the same ones who think a hysterectomy will cure endo too.

There is no cure....not yet anyway. I am ever hopeful that one day there will be. But I can't see it happening in my lifetime.
