Ive had ongoing symptoms over the last 2 years these include migraines, bloating, pelvic pain, sciatica. Over the last week ive had constant pain in my hips, back and also where my ovaries etc would be the pains seem to be a constant stitch pain and also dull aching pain. Ive been on the depo for 3 years so cannot tell where I am on my menstrual cycle.

Hi i have the exact same symptons as you said. I have had a lap and been diagnoised with endo and they gave me lazer surgery to zap them away but i am sorry to tell you it hasnt made any difference as i still suffer with the same pain. Mine is all on my left side and some days i could really give in as its gets much worse as the day goes on. I am not convinced i only have endo and not something else as well. Make sure you question docs about other causes and take care.

Hi Steph_jewel,

I get all the things you describe too....and its quite depressing at times, I dont know about the depo you say you take nor its affect on the body but your other symptoms and the sciatic/nerve pain is similar to mine.

I also suffer extreme muscle/nerve pain and electric shocks in legs and arms, twitching in muscles and extensive numbness..... I do have several disc bulges (from neck to lumbar) in my spine but was told that the ones in my lumbar spine are not the cause of the symptoms I am having......??? frustrating.......and as Fern123 rightly says there could be something else going on and not just Endo. I did think that the Endo could be attached to my Lumbar- spine, at one point.

A specialist told me recently that he thinks I may have fibromyalgia (FM) but there are no defintive tests for this and specialists must rule out other conditions before they reach that conclusion.

Oh... and I finshed my last period 27th Sept but began bleeding again six days ago, after having sex. Really worried about this as it doesnt look or feel like a usual one. I am due my first lap on Monday.

Soph86, how horrible for you to have to undergo more trauma and waiting, I do hope that those surgeons do a thorough job so that you wont have to suffer any more pain. At least you now know you have the right men for the job, on the case.

My very best wishes to all you ladies

Heres hoping that things finally get sorted

Regards Angie x

Hi steph,

I have had similar symptoms to you for past year. Have just had a lap to be told it's not endo!

Best advice I can give you is to keep a diary of your symptoms (even if u don't know where u are in cycle) and go to your appointment with a list of ur symptoms etc. sounds obvious but it is amazing what u forget to say otherwise! Hopefully they will decide to investigate with lap- at least then u will know either way. Waiting times vary- I was lucky I only had to wait a few months. Good luck with it and hope u get some answers x

Im so afraid they are going to say the same to me, as ive been misdiagnoised for 2 years. I am just really hoping they discover it is endo as I really dont know what else it can be as ive been tested/scanned for everything else x
