Does anyone feel their endo pain is worse after exercising? I'm following a fitness plan and feel pain and bleeding is worse post exercise.

Yup, I'm sure mine is!! Find that walking is best - any type of straining or impact can be really bad for me! But as I love sailing and rock climbing... It can be pretty hard to do the things I love without ending up in a pathetic heap!

Has it always been like that for you? I've only had the problem since September... Which is when I had my last lap... And always wondered if its because of adhesions?

I do think that exercise helps tho... Even if it does hurt... Better to keep everything moving. I have a vague hope that one day it won't hurt anymore.. So keep trying and hoping!

Keep your chin up :-) xx

Yes I have struggled with high impact exercise for years, I find walking (at a fast pace or power walking, so I feel like I've burned some calories), yoga, swimming, using my exercise bike or low impact exercise are a good for me, you have to find things that suit you. The joys of endo!!!!!

Thanks for your responses! I am trying to lose weight and in doing so am increasing my physical activity but I have noticed fairly recently I am sore, crampy and bleeding after every time I exercise. Even after swimming. I don't want to give up the higher impact stuff because I am enjoying it in order to get fit. It is very frustrating!! My hubby is saying to cut back on the exercise and get back to the docs but really what's the point. Nowt they can do about it eh?

I know how you feel, but you just need to do as much as you can and not to over do it. I also spoke to my fitness instructor about my illness before attending classes and she advised me on what classes to take part in. Take care and keep smiling X
