if your doctor granted you a hysterectomy, how old were you and did it work?

Hi,i was 35,had hyst in nov last year i had deceptyl for 7month beforehand as a condition of surgery,to see if it would work.Its been really tough but am just starting to feel better in myself as i was very,very ill beforehand,i was bedbound for 2month up to surgery with back,bowel and bladder symptoms,as for long term effects and results time will tell as they wouldn,t remove my ovaries.
