Hot Legs RLS

Hi does anyone else suffer with burning legs at night & Restless Leg Syndrome.I have read that these can be symptoms of CKD

I have struggled with this for many years but don't know if there is a connection.

I virtually never get a proper night's sleep because of these symptoms.

I'm not sure if there are any treatments available to relieve these symptoms which would aid me in potentially getting a much better night's sleep .

Ever since being diagnosed with CKD , i have experienced nighty restless legs, and leg cramps, very painful. There are prescriptions for restless legs, but the side effects were worse than the pain....Doctor may be able to give you some medications. I've also rubbed magnesium oil on my legs and feet...seems to help somewhat.

magnesium tablets help my restless less enormously. Also can help migraine. Evidently magnesium shortage in the body is quite common common .

I tried some stuff I bought on Amazon called "Relaxing Leg Cream" by Magnalife. Really helped with the RLS, but I need to buy another jar to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Lately, I've been suffering from terrible toe cramps that keep from getting a good night's sleep, but I'm gonna start working on stretching, massaging, then relaxing the feet before bedtime. If that doesn't work, will try a warm foot bath. Might also try the RLS cream.
