Yes continual use of laxatives is not good for anyone especially CKD. They can change the electrolyte balance and can cause dehydration. And becoming dependent on them is not healthy. Not sure about elevated creatinine. Better to add fiber to your diet and drink more water and exercise. And speak to your doctor about adding things like stool softeners or a fiber additive.

Yes, laxatives can cause a potassium deficiency which therfore will have negative effects on your kidneys. Why are you taking laxatives?
