Not sure. : My husband has 3b kidney... - Early CKD Support
Not sure.
There are a few things that can affect the adrenal glands, not just kidney (CKD). An endocrinologist should be seen. It may me his pituitary gland is slightly off (easily treated with medication). Even diet (too much sugar, etc.) can cause the shaking, adrenals. Falling to the floor sounds very extreme and he should keep meeting with the doctor until the right balance, with medication is achieved. It is generally highly treatable.
Thank you Rick, he’s just waiting to see an endocrinologist at moment so hopefully it will get sorted thanks for your reply
don't worry to much. An endo guy shoud be able to solve this for you. However keep in mind it might take a few tries of different drug combinations, or different quantities of known drug. It is NOT like a headache where you take a pill and the next day all is well. My father had off pituitary. It took about a month of trying different known medications and adjusting their quantities, to get them at a right combination that worked for him. But from that point on he took those drugs for years, and ultimately passed away in his sleep at the age of 92. So don't get discouraged too quickly.
Thanks , He had bladder cancer 7 yrs ago and things just seem to go from one thing to another and not been right for such a long time, just hope things will get better thank you .
I used to fall at random, for absolutely no reason, and out of the blue before I was diagnosed with CKD. I was in Metabolic Acidosis come to find out, and once that was corrected I have no more falling or balance issues.
