Hi,

I’m not familiar with any of those readings at all but maybe someone else might do!

Can your go explain the hem to you?

Reading lab results, help. See website:

I would also look at your GFR, BUN, PROTEIN, ALBUMIN, and BUN:CREATININE RATIO, lab values. They all play a part in determining if you have CKD.

All those are in perfectly normal range

Open each test for the range of normal values for that test in the website below.

Use the equation in this website to calculate your GFR.

GFR is 36 as per above formula.

However, all other values are in normal range for kidney function tests, liver tests, sugar tests etc.

Only creatinine is at 1.83 since December 19

Pardon me for daring to tell the truth: The business of Nephrology is not to do any positive treatment for failing kidneys but to guide the patients to the clinics for dialysis. That's where the money is. Even the VA does not provide a certified renal dietician, but only clinical dieticians. The ones at my VA unit are sweet but they only hand out printed sheets of minimal value. My nephrologist is completely useless for my kidneys. My PCP is great but is limited and dares not to interfere with the "specialists". For real kidney treatments, if you can afford it, go to China. I've been there and stayed until I ran out of money. They have been treating kidneys for over 3000 years and have a handle on it. If you can find a nephrologist here in the US who dares to learn the Chinese methods, he probably doesn't own any part of a dialysis clinic. If you find one, let me know. I am 84 with GFR of 20 with ADPKD, and several other things breaking down. Stage 4 is not so bad, as old as I am and realize that nephrology is fraud here in the US. Oops, I'll probably get deleted for this.
