Further to my last post I managed to get an NHS blood test done through my GP. Remember my previous creatinine 11 days earlier was 188 with a GFR of 31, so my creatinine with this test was 128 with GFR of 48, with all other factors being normal. From this I think the blood test done through the private lab was almost certainly incorrect.
Will continue with what I was doing - mainly vegan diet with small amounts of cheese now and then, and an egg a couple of times per week. Have also now been intermittent fasting for 3 months - only eating between 12 midday and 8:00 in the evening, lost 12 lbs and feel fitter. I'm also exercising 1.5 hours a day on 5 days a week, I have progressive MS so trying to stave off the inevitable - total immobility!!! Lesson from all this - never give up, just keep fighting!

Yes "never give up and just keep fighting". Important to be proactive for ourselves. Agree change in figures could be difference in labs. Keep monitoring.
Well done! Personally I suspect private lab results ok and that there's some fluctuation in results with time which is normal. But importantly the trend is good. Docs don't look at trends but my dad and I have done with my mum's results simply by noting graphical results over time. Her trend is gradual improvement albeit with some fluctuation. Happy to share via pm.
PS Read some very interesting recent results yesterday re MS improvements with natural treatment (intermittent fasting!). Happy to also share via pm since you seem positive about natural treatments as we are.
I had repeat blood tests done cos I was a bit dubious about the first gfr reading ( 45) down from 53 , 12 months ago . I was concerned . Anyway the 2nd result was 11 points higher than the first. ( 56) so .....it isn't a very reliable test !!!
Hey JAYCEE33! So glad to hear that you’re doing better! Wow! Creatinine down from 188 to 128, and a great improvement to your GFR! Awesome stuff. Keep up the good work! 👏🏻💪🏼😊👍
