Hi everyone. Good news today, just got my blood results. gfr 53 was 39 creatinine 88 was 114 all electrolytes within normal range this improvement is over the last 3 months. I have taken note of the advice given by all the knowledgeable people on the ckd journey who post on this site. I have lost 16lbs, drastically reduced salt, drink about 3L of water per day , exercised almost everyday BP in normal range. My diabetes has been well controlled for quite a while HbA1C 6.1. I took myself off Omeprazole after my last results , It was prescribed for me a few years ago I am convinced this was causing injury gfr was 55 in 2017, 45 in 2018 and 39 in April 2019. I shall carry on with the good work. I am so lucky and thankful to feel so well at 81 years of age. Good luck to you all

Thank you for sharing the great news. I am 78, and also got off Omeprazole which had been taking for years. The diet too has helped me greatly. I am doing well too for my age, even though have other medical issues to deal with.
