Hi all.
This forum is great, as I get to read and get inspiration from all of you.
Recently I underwent ACR test, which showed 43 mg. The normal range is from 0 to 30.
So any advice on reducing microalbuminuria would be helpful.
TIA.

Hi. Natural to be concerned on any testing result that does not come out in the normal range. But with ACR, just one test is not enough. Yes, less than 30 is normal. But the range of 30 up to 300 is considered moderate increase. IF you get a result in this higher range (moderate) it is considered to be CKD. BUT this needs to be the result in 3 consecutive monthly tests. Go back about 4 weeks after the result of this test you just had, get another, see the result. Here is a link:

How to reduce it? Drink plenty of fluids. Do moderate but not excessive exercise. Reduce your protein intake. Don't eliminate it, just reduce it.
Thank you RickHow.
However I do drink a plenty of plain room temperature water, and even before the test I was adequately hydrated. I have hypertension but controlled and non diabetic but insomniac, for which I am on a low dose of sedative.
I am slightly obese but this can't be the reason of microalbuminuria until ckd has set in. However my serum tests are all within normal range. So I am trying to figure out what can be done to bring the numbers down.
