White sperm like sticky substance with urine at the end of the pee

I have kidney disease. GFR 32.I spill fairly large amount of protein in my urine.

I m very concerned with one thing.

I leak white sperm like sticky substance with the urine. Is this the protein or something else.

I discuss this with my doctor but he seems unconcern.

Hi Dracula and thank you for your post. I am unsure as to the answer to your question, but if your doctor seems unconcerned, please be reassured by this. Make sure you are drinking enough water, as water is the best tool for balancing water balance in your body. If your symptoms continue, it may be a good idea to mention this to your doctor again and also take a urine sample for testing. Are any other members able to help Drakula, please? I am sorry for the short reply. I have noticed small white bits also. I wouldn't call it white sticky sperm like though. It's small 2mm pieces what I'm presuming is protein leak.

I don't notice it every day and it isn't much. I am unfortunately hovering around the 20 egfr mark. I hope this helps somewhat.

I have had this same condition for almost 2 years. I would not call it sticky, because it just remains in the water and sort of floats. Yet all my urine tests show this is NOT protein, or at least not enough to measure. My microalbumin measurements are all normal. I have discussed in the past with my kidney doctors and my urologists. They are unconcerned. And over that 2 year period my egfr has remained constant, or in fact improved some.
