I had laparoscopy surgery for gynae problems. The day after I had an in out catheter due to retention. 4 days later I passed a considerable amount of bloody urine. There was a lot of sediment in the urine. Went in to hospital. Had 3+ blood protein and leukocytes. Urine culture came back as ecoli and a lot of calcium in the sample. A ct scan was done 1 week after this due to hospital messing about. The scan was clear. I am still in pain which requires oromorph at times. It hurts after urination and drinking in my bladder and right kidney despite finishing antibiotics and clear for infection. I continue to have trace protein and 3+ blood on dipstick. Not been seen by a urologist yet. Does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening?
