Hello Shastagirl, you have not said in which country your mother-in-law lives, but if it is UK she should contact her kidney doctor about this. If they cannot suggest a solution, she will have to go back to her own doctor (called a General Practitioner in UK), who should be able to at least ease her pain.

Each country has its own way of working, so it may be best to contact her local chemist or pharmacy and ask the pharmacist how she can get help with her problems. If she does not have this service, maybe she could just go to her local hospital or medical centre and ask if someone could see her and help her.

I do hope she gets some help very soon, good luck and best wishes to you both - Curleytop1.
