Today I send my old primary doctor a note that I had changed doctors. Told him that new doctor had send me to a renal doctor and his comment was your kidneys are in the normal range and nothing needs to be done. I have stage 3 kidney disease. So glad I changed.

Good you were proactive. I changed Doctors too and new Doctor diagnosed me correctly and prescribed correct treatment. . Much can be done to slow down progression at stage 3.
You're just right....I don't know what's going on with the NHS/doctors. I only found out in June that I was at stage 4 egfr 25, yet when I requested my medical records they show that five years ago I was already there egfr 33.
You are in a good place to slow this way down with diet and exercise. I wish you well, good luck.
Since you have already made the proactive decision to change doctors I'm making this post. For everyone else...
What do you call the person who graduates in last place from their medical school?
Doctor.
That's frustrating. Glad you were proactive!
Glad that you were proactive!
Never easy, but you are now dealing with competency and hopefully, compassion.
Stay strong!
