Am curious can being anxious have an affect on our kidney lab test results? Bloods for me tomorrow and my nerves are kicking in, my results will be ready the same day but later on in the evening of getting them done in the day, so knowing that as well is getting me so anxious. I am trying not to think about it by getting on but its there in the back of my mind :/ Thank you for any replies in advance x

Anxiety won't affect your blood results, unless it means, for example, that you don't eat while you are nervous, or comfort eat the wrong foods. Try not to worry- your bloods are the best indicator of what your kidneys are doing, and you know what you are dealing with.

Anxiety might keep you from staying hydrated, so be sure to drink a lot of water the day of your labs. Best wishes.
