Hi Sunil
It's unusual for people on here to get no replies... which country do you live in? I only ask because I am not familiar with any of the drugs you listed. I suspect that perhaps they are not prescribed in England which is why you have had no other replies. You can probably look them all up on the Internet and find some answers. Good luck.
Howdy Sunil,
While I'm not familiar with those supplements (I searched for them, too), I can give an educated guess on the Neorenal. I believe that's probably a specially formulated vitamin specifically for CKD. I take one called ProRenal. In regular daily vitamins, the ones that 'normal' people take, there are particular vitamins and doses of other vitamins which aren't appropriate for us. The renal vitamins contain the ones we need with the proper dosages. (Of course, not being a pharmacologist, I can't be positive that's it.)
As far as other supplements I take, it's really only Vitamin D. Besides the 1000 IU in the ProRenal, I take another 3000 IU. I am also fortunate to live in an area where the sun shines all or much of the day at least 90% of the time (southern Arizona). So I make every effort to get at least 20 minutes of sun per day, usually in the morning because temps during the summer can reach over 110°F/38°C (I'm sure you know what that's like)!
I wish I could help you with the other two. The only actual prescription medication I take for my CKD (GFR 31-40) is Calcitriol. It's sort of a form of vitamin D, too, I think. Perhaps one of yours works the same way as that one.
Best wishes,
Laurie
