kidney disease and cancer
Thanks very much for the advice and I hope you continue towards recovery and that the fatigue reduces over time.
I AM SO SORRY YOU ARE GOING THRU SO MANY ISSUES. I FEEL LIKE A WHINEY OLD LADY-78-. HAVE CKD3 AND AM STRESSING, ANXIOUS AND DEPRESSED. THE DIETS ADVISED CAN DRIVE YOU CRAZY. I ALSO GET UNPASSED KIDNEY STONES- NO SYMPTOMS. FOUND BY ACCIDENT WHEN XRAYED FOR ANOTHER ISSUE. STONE WAS LARGE ENOUGH TO ALMOST COMPLETELY BLOCK KIDNEY. WENT TO NUTRITIONIST. DIET FOR STONES TOTALLY CONFLICTS WITH DIET FOR DISEASE-EXCEPT FOR THE GALLON OF WATER PER DAY. THE FRUITS THEY ADVISE FOR DISEASE CANNOT BE EATEN WITH STONES- ANY FRUIT ENDING IN BERRIES. I AM REDUCED TO APPLES. PROTEIN LIMITED TO 40g per day. AMAZED HOW MANY FOODS CONTAIN PROTEIN. HAPPILY I AM ALLOWED FRENCH VANILLA COFFEE CREAMER IN MY COFFEE-THO COFFEE INTAKE HAS ALSO BEEN LIMITED. AWAITING RESULTS OF MY LATEST KIDNEY FUNCTION TEST. VERY ANXIOUS AND STRESSED. I MUST TRUST GOD----ONLY ONE I CAN. GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND GOD BLESS
we all have problems and it does not matter what age we are health is health and poor health does cause depression and upset. it can put you in a bad place. yes food and the right diet can be so complex. i was told to eat healthily but like you say when you reseach one thing its not good for another. measuring portions is a really great idea, even for me when i buy a steak at the butchers i half it and stick one half in the freezer, 17 months ago i would eat the whole thing i measure my porridge oats in the morning 40grams and use skimmed milk and cinamon to sweeten. i do wish you well stones are not nice and when they move it stings like youve been kicked by horse. all the best roger
