Hi,
My GFR is mid forties and I've been stung by a bee today. Should I be worried? I know multiple bee stings can cause renal failure.
Thanks, Matt

Thats interesting! I should imagine if you have removed it that should be ok & not cause any problems! If you start feeling unwell go to the drs!
I keep bees and have never had a problem. It may depend on what medication you are taking. But as other reply if you start feeling unwell seek medical advice.
I haven't heard that. I do know that they actually use bee stings ... on purpose, under controlled conditions. .. as a treatment for arthritis and other inflammatory conditions. Was even on national news last year.
Regarding your sting, as others have said, if you feel ill at all, see a doctor.
Unlikely, unless you are allergic to bee venom (in which case you might not be posting your message)
Remove the bee sting, or get a friend to do it.
Keep the sting area clean, and seek medical advice if you have any problems
If your certain it was a bee the advice from the BBKA is sound (just ignore the bit about hive tools)
bbka.org.uk/help/stings/tre...
Again seek medical advice if in doubt.
Thank you everyone, I'm still here so I'm guessing I'm going to make it. Thank you for all of your replies.
