His systolic pressure is around 140- 150. His diastolic is around 60-64. Can someone share what could be the reason. His Hb was 12.7 g/dL. eGFR is 44. What precautions do we need to take? Thanks

My husband is a CKD STAGE 3. He is diabetc ans has hypertension. He is feells very cold. His hands are always very cold.
Hello there i have stage 3 and am allways cold my hands are never warm im not sure of the reason but just though i would let you know your not alone......if any one could help with this please do.
Sounds like the reason he is so cold maybe be a blood pressure problem. Low blood pressure will make you cold and clammy.
Sadly it is one of the side effects of having kidney issues. The cause is due to circulation with not the healthiest of bloods all you can do is use extra blankets (I have them all over the place), a heat pad can help or hot water bottles. Just keep an eye on the colour.
Thanks for the response. With so many blood pressure medication, the systolic still goes up to 140- 150in the evenings. The medicines affect the diastolic pressure as well. His diastolic goes down to 55 sometimes. We have mentioned that to the nephrologist. But he did not pay much attention to that. I do not know if that is correct.
