Every 2 Hour Wake Ups: DEXCOM

Hi everyone. This is an update on how the sensor had been working for me. This may be longer than usual since there's a lot to bring up.

To start with, the sensor I had been using for (almost 10 days) started acting up here and there yesterday (Friday). Some of the time it was acting up, it would take sometime to 'wake up' and give results, again. This was going on after dinner and during the hours between 10:25 pm and into this morning. The alarms went off at 12 midnight/am, 1 am, 2:30 am and 5 am. I plan on giving a call to get a new free replacement sensor sent out today and have a talk with the Reps. for the Tech. Support. I have a few questions for them, anyway, so I might as well ask the questions while I have them on the phone getting the sensor taken care of all at one time.

Since all the alarms went off, I have a massive headache and may try to take a nap at some point today either after the call to the Reps. or after lunch. The worse part is, the next time I have to change the sensor I put in this morning, I will have to do it so I don't have to get up at 5:17 am on the 18th of August. So far, the new sensor is working pretty good.

Hey poor you Leah, I hope that headache is better and you’ve had a nap.

Good luck with the new sensor. 😊

No nap, yet, but I plan to take one before dinner tonight. The headache went away during lunch.

Will be getting a free new sensor in the next few days (3-5).

Will let you and everyone else know what ends up happening with the new sensor I have been using since early this morning soon. :-)
