Hi. I'm new here. My mother is a type 2 diabetic and she hasn't had her metformin in 2 weeks. What can happen to her body if she isn't taking the medication?

Hi and welcome to the group, Deemama1 . Is your Mother on insulin along with Metformin? Have you talked to the doctor about your Mother not taking the Metformin recently? Do you go to the appointments with her? How many times a day is she suppose to be taking Metformin? What dose was she prescribed?

Pls tell her to try & behave. We are all concerned. Don't let her have food with high carbs. Hydration is important & good luck.
