Dear eghwa.....If you live in the UK, contact your local social services and ask for a stair lift because of health problems, they will arrange for an occupational therapist to visit you at home.
Because of my medical problems, I asked for stairlift.....I eventually ended up with a lift from dining room up to small back bedroom, social services may not recommend a lift but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
Good luck.
Don 😀
