I'm currently on day 10 of my drink free days. I'm feeling pretty positive that managed to watch a rugby match without a drink for the first time since I was 16 this weekend but it took a lot of concentration to manage the whole weekend. Does anyone have a few quick tips for concurring drink triggers?

In order to not drink, I had to figure out what my triggers (people, places and things) were and then avoid them. Avoiding triggers is just a part of staying sober. I didn’t have to avoid them all my life, but some it was years. My sobriety was more important and worth some sacrifices. After a while some weren’t sacrifices anymore, just good habits that helped keep me sober for twenty years. 🍀
