I managed a day

So I managed a day without drink yesterday. Today at 2pm I started to have chest pain so I had a quater of a glass of white 5% white today and my chest stopped hurting.

So I feel I have to do it gradually and then would like it to be where I quit totally as know it's no good for me.

I put my nd day for Monday to not drink on my app but might do tomorrow as had a quater today due to chest pain I'm trying hard but have to do it gradually.

Yes , if your a regular drinker don't stop straight away, obviously other people might say I'm wrong ,what I'm saying is if you've have been a long term drinker you are susceptible to withdrawal symptoms , and without medication then using drink is your only option, I know your trying your best, but obviously your health is important here.

Thanks for reaching out and am glad you are better. Its allways better to have supervised detoxification. Like Twinklystar suggested reach out to your primary care.

It is so difficult. My danger time is 8 till 11at night. I'm always happy the next day if I can do without it cos I feel fresher but the thought of not drinking makes me miserable. . Prayer works s so sometimes I don't pray so I can have a drink🤣

I think winter is great for that yes. I've discovered some non alcoholic blue becks which I may use in summer as it tastes good without the headache and embarrassment 😅
