My dad Stoke

Hi everyone my dad had left middle cerebral artery and anterior cerebral artery stroke with hemorrhagic and post decompressive crainoectomy

He was in an induced coma for 3 - 4 days

He is off sedation now

His Glascow coma scale was 3

now he is 7 on tracheostomy, no sedation and Nasogastric tube

He wake up a few times in a day just looking to us without talking or anything and then he sleeps again

He is stable now but the doctor said that his stroke is massive which he called it “ malignant stroke “ and he don’t know when he can wake up fully

Any similar stories of recoveries

Please if you guys have anything to say or discuss I’m so scared and worried can you say any thing to comfort me

Sorry to hear about that, this recently happend to my granmother. Did you fathers condition improve?

Hi !

My dad is getting better now , his progress is slow but now after 8 months

His GCS is 11 now and he is getting better

I know it may be hard now

But you will get through it I promise
