Stroke aftereffects

I had a stroke just over three years ago i am now ok except i am now always lacking energy and motivation also i seem to be able to show emotion these things make me feel very quite depressed will i ever get back to being the me i was before the stroke are these feelings commen after a stroke and does anyone else feel like this. I know i have been very lucky not to have any serious after effects best of luck to everyone

Hi my stroke was 4yrs ago it has taken most of my vision It is true we are always tired and no energy our brain has been hurt just rest as much as you can and I think family and friends help it will get better takes a time. Keep positive

My stroke happened May 2016 and I have grieved for the me before the stroke. Now having come to accept what happened and moved on I am a different version of me. You deserve to be happy so give yourself a chance and live each day accepting you are not the same. You are still you and the people you love and are close to you can help.
