My mum had a massive stroke in June this year. She came out of hospital in August. I have become her full time carer as my dad was rushed to hospital a week after mum came home. Mum was first on puree food and thickener in fluids but is now on a normal diet. She still has left side paralysis and is in a wheelchair. She has good and bad days. It's a long slow progress but hopefully she will get there. If you want to chat send me a message. Tracey.
