Told I was drunk........

Hello, I am new on here and had a stroke in 1992 and still suffer with my right leg and arm (weakness), it took me 7 hours to be admitted to hospital having been told I was drunk !! No such luck, no alcohol had passed my lips, eventually got admitted to the hospital, only for my husband to told that if I lived, after three days they would scan my brain - hope things are different now !

That's really disgusting, but yes things are very different now. When I went in I was showing very few systems by the time I got there but they took it very serious, and before I realized what was going on I had two IV's in and a multitude of tests ordered. They don't fool around with it like they used to, thank God or I might had ended up with permanent problems. Glad to hear you're doing as well as you are.
