The type of diabetes you are having will be determined by tests on your tolerance to glucose and the ability of your pancreas to create insulin through appropriate tests.In respect of type 1 you have to maintain your self with insulin only as per doctor's prescription . The quantity of injection will depend on the level of your insulin requirement as may be decided by doctor.
