Diabetes affects all parts of the body all the time.Homeopathy maybe effective on the long run.How long nobody knows until results are seen.In the meantime damage in the body systems continues.That is the reason why I feel that Homeo is not advisable for a diabetic.

i disagree...homeopathy treats without side effects...i have been using it since 5 yrs for my kids ...and in case of diabetes, it is very effective in the initial stage...but ones u cross 200 ,allopathic treatment is required...but then also one should not stop homeopathy because it will always keep your aloopathic medicines on a lower side...one such medicine in homeopathy is diabonil from SBL... i suggest you must try it...do share your experiences in case u try this one...it will also keep your organs safe..

200 is too low a threshold if someone is a diabetic and not on medicines. Normally in allopathy medication will start above 180 level.Also your observation that one can use both medicines simultaneously for the same complaint needs re-examination.What ever it is,it is your decision and my only suggestion is to keep monitoring so that diabetes is controlled.

both homeopathic and allopathy can go hand in hand...except in case of antibiotics when homeopathy does not respond with it...also one has to keep a difference of half an hour between the two forms of medications...

U are talking of kids. Dont expose them so much. And blind failth is not necessary. Homepathy is also having side effects. A treatment for epilepcy for years made person with complications and died . I am a witness to this.

exposure to homeopathy is better than exposure to antibiotic....secondly any form of medicine taken for years will leave side -effects behind...it is upto a person not to follow any medication blindly...i have myself witnessed people dying due to wrong allopathic treatment in just few months not even years....

it depends upon person to person ....i have my faith in homeopathic because my family has been using it since years...even we as a child used to take homeopathy...and still using it...thankfully have never visited a doctor for myself and my kids..

Pragya ji,I am not competent to discuss about the efficacy of homeopathy or otherwise.If you can achieve quick results with homeo for diabetes,well and good.We are discussing only how a diabetic can take care of oneself.No child problems or antibiotics are involved.Please enlighten if any of your near ones are treated successfully for diabetes,Will be useful for me.

my husband takes diabonil 10 drops in 1/4th cup of water half an hr before meals thrice a day ....it has helped him a lot...u can try it...there is no harm ....in case it suits u..then u can suggest this medicine to others ....if not ,then stop it...but remember not to have hing, kacha pyaaz and kaccha lehsun when u take homeopathic medicines...alsoavoid taking anything atleast half an hr before and after any homeopathic medicine...but u have to be patient..take this medicine for atleast one mnth before reaching to any conclusion...don't dtop allopathic drugs,if any....once ur sugar levels come down, u can reduce other medicines...
