What should be my ideal diet. I am 60. My PP 140 and fasting 110

Before talking of diet try walking,or other exercises as , ur sugar level fasting is a bit more(not really). 140 after lunch is a wrong reading with 110 fasting.Re-check ur blood sugar levels in a lab.
Should I eat veg. or non-veg. and what kind of food should I intake?
my fasting sugar is 82 can I still take Teniva20mg as it is prescribed by dr.?
After one hour of Dinner my sugar reading showed 212. This means that i am diabetic?
