FARSAN (Snacks prepared from Besan ) IS it considered as sugar eating ??
Snacks with just Besan ? It must have sugar, salt, oil etc. added right ? Only basen, I thing it should be ok. But what else is there ?

Ready made Farsan / Chiwdas / chips available in market are fried , some spices added >> so are they ok to eat , us the diabetics
Farsan doesn't contain high amt of sugar.it containts sugar equivalent to our normal diet like roti,rice.but it contain high amt. Of fat ,which is much harmful for diabetics.you can refer 'ingredient' details given on package.farsan should be avoided from regular diet,if possible.still you can take in small amt.,occasionly..
DM is not problem of carbohydrate metabolism only.insulin is having considerable role in metabolism of fat and protein also.so balanced diet should be taken.farsan contains high amt.of LDL and triglyceride which is very harmful when increases in body.fat should not be taken more than 20g daily in diet for 2100 Kcal,which is sufficient for 'moderate working'diabetics.
