Hello Dr Pramodl, I am taking 1 tab of 'Janumet 50mg/500mg' at breakfast and 1 tab of 'Januvia 50mg' at dinner since mid-November. and my FBS has come down to 117 from 194. Lately, the local chemist has recommended that I shoul also try an aurvedic medicine 'Sugar Balance by Organic India' - this can be taken along with the other medicine, so I have started taking 2 caps of 'sugar balance' after lunch also since a week. I have not checked the sugar level yet. Is this OK? Do I have take the medicine life long?

Incidently, my HbA1C value was 10.8 in early November when I first discovered that I am dibetic. After about one month of medication the HbA1C value came down to 9.6. I have not checked since then. Please advise.
