Regarding Insulin Injection

My wife is taking Insulin Injection twice a day. It is 20 and 15 measure of the Huma insulin 30/70 for the last 7 - 8 years. when it can be stopped or is it life long???.

Glucometer shows sometime 350 and sometime 50+. why this variation?

Sorry. It is 7 to 8 years.

once you have insuline dependent d.m..it is a must to take insuline for lifelong-dose may be adjusted.

glucometer may not be working properly,may change the instrument or do it correctly

The glucometer is correct. Already checked with another instrument owned by a Doctor.
