Which fruits can be taken by type-2 diabetics? Also let me know which are the grains suitable for type-2 diabetics?
In grains,oat is good source of fibre.and fruits having high starch like banana ,mango should be avoided or taken in small quantities while other fruits can be taken in limit.
Fruits which are very sweet like Mango, Chickoo, Dates, Bananas, Kharboos, should be avoided. Other fruits are allowed with reasonable quantity, small one. In grains, whole oats, whole wheat, brown rice, all dals with skins may be cooked and taken. This is what I do
I am told that Papaya fruit can be eaten by Diabetics in whatever quantity they like. You may checkout on this more before you actually start eating. Papaya has other good effects on health too.
