How to take care of teeth if one has diabetes. Does diabetes also affect the teeth. How can a person with diabetes take care of the teeth.

Yes, diabetes can lead to dry mouth and also not so good healing of mouth sores.... so diabetics have to be extra vigilant in dental care. Same advice as for non-diabetics - good toothbrush, regular brushing... but more important than ever.

You should have to go to dentist in 6 months 1 times and also use always a medicated toothpaste,gargle and tongue cleaner examine every day ur teeth 4 mouth ulcers, gingivites etc.

Diabetics should gargle with hot salt-water everyday to get rid of any infection and mouth ulcers.

You should undergo dental check-up once in every six months.

Gingivitis is inflammation of the gums. Periodontitis is inflammation and infection of the ligaments and bones that support the teeth. Diabetes aggravates both gingivitis and periodontitis, causing the teeth to become loose and eventually fall out.
