My Urine’s ACR result is 8.4 mg/mmol. HbA1C is 8.5. I am very worried. Kindly advise or provide insights.

ACR was tested yesterday. Yes, I am visiting the doctor this week.

What do you usually have for food/drinks?

Yes, I will surely let you know after the appointment. Till now, I used to have mainly carbs in my food which I know was wrong. But for drinks, I preferred water. On my way to fix my unhealthy food habits now!

Do you count carbs. for snacks and meals? The body/brain needs some carbs. to function correctly.

I eat a low carb. high protein and gluten free diet because I have a gluten sensitivity/wheat issue/intolerance along with being a person with Type 1 Diabetes.

I never kept a count of consuming carbs and that is the blunder I did. I have started keeping a check now. Hope I am not too late 🙏🏼
