Weight loss and Diabetes
"In people with diabetes, insufficient insulin prevents the body from getting glucose from the blood into the body's cells to use as energy. When this occurs, the body starts burning fat and muscle for energy, causing a reduction in overall body weight."(1)
"One study found that people with type 2 diabetes improved their blood sugar control when they lost as little as 2% of their body weight. And research shows that losing 5% of your extra weight will make you less likely to get heart disease by improving blood pressure, blood sugar, and HDL cholesterol (the good kind)."(2)
"When you weigh less, your pancreas is better able to keep up with your body's need for insulin. In some cases, weight loss is enough to restore blood sugar to a normal level, which eliminates diabetes>"(3)

Hi,
If you take daily record of your weight and blood glucose and draw a graph, you can see as the weight goes down blood glucose also goes down, you can control this by making sure your time between dinner and breakfast is more then 14 hours.
You only eat three meals a day, limiting carb intake and go for daily walks as exercise.
There are many video clips done by South Indian doctors in English and an Tamil, if you Google you can find video clips.
Take care.
