Morning here by me, South Africa.

I need to lose weight. I did lose in the first month Feb 10kg.

Then I picked up 1.3kg again. Sticking to my eat plan.

Now it seems I'm stuck don't want move downwards.

Breakfast: 1 Weetabix, two level raw oats plus one table spoon Double fat yogurt.

Lunch chicken salad or egg salad

Super Tuna salad.

All salads Olive oil + Balsamic vinegar.

I lost the 1.3kg I picked up. I also do 3.2km walk every morning. Brisk

Any suggestion

Hi J0chen1955 ,

Good Afternoon.

It is very normal to gain weight after reducing weight. It happens almost to every one who are in a weight reduction programme.

Please see if you can replace walking with cross trainer(fat burn mode). It helped me a lot when I was in a weight loss mission. Please note that this change takes 3-4 months to work.

All the best.

Cheers.

Ok I'm 66 year old. I have hart failure, two enlarged hart chambers. Also have AF.

Don't think cross trainer is the answer for me.

Thank you for the suggestion.

Hi soni1 , I did walking for 45 mins to 1 hour a day for 6 months or so and I ended up losing around 6 kilos. After that I had used cross trainer and it took almost a year to lost another 5 kilos.

Hi,

From my experience exercise alone only contribute towards loosing weight. Diet, portion control and eating 2 meals a day do help towards loosing weight.

Time between evening meal and breakfast need to be longer, only fruit for lunch do help as well. I could do this when I was working, I will walk to a market fruit shop, but one large orange and one avocado, walking time 40 minutes and both fruits for lunch.

Now retired, difficult to do this. The other day I took my car for service without and drink or food and walked home it took 1 1/2, I did not want a life and my wife went mad for doing this, I did this to proof to myself that my body is functioning properly at 74.

I read that if you can walk to the 4th floor of a building and did not experience any problems then the body is healthy!!!

Loosing weight is fine but new cloths cost a lot of money. I was clearing my old cloths and found 17 1/2 collar shirts now days I wear size16.

I am maintaining my weight.

Take care.
