WHAT TO EAT PART 2: VEGETABLES/PULSES/BEANS

Vegetables are necessary to the diet and nutrition of everyone.

Include in your diet the following..

Any poached, steamed and/or microwaved can be used to keep vitamins in them to prevent losses.

Beetroot, Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflower, Cucumber, Eggplant/Aubergine, Kale, Mushrooms, Onions, Peppers, Tomatoes, Squashes and all including Butternut Summer Courgettes.

Tablespoon of each be advisable recommended..

Beans and Pulses

List includes following..

Aduki, Blackeyed, Cannellini, Chickpeas, Flagolet, Kidney, Lentils.

Choose in water if tinned drain rinse.. Dried beans soak over night cook as instructions tin box packet..

Percentage portions serving beans and vegetables.

It's useful to know as sometimes, Diabetics may struggle to digest.

2years old to 5years old 15g per day

5years old to 11years old 20g per day.

11years old to 16years old. 25 g per day.

16 years old to an adult 30g per day.
