With your random readings, it can only be said that the rise in blood sugar due to meal is quite good ( only 25 points). The absolute numbers ( 146 and 171) are on higher side, putting you in pre-diabetic category. In order to assess your conditions, you need to take your blood sugar readings in a more systematic way. For example, you should take your fasting blood sugar reading in the morning ( after 10 hours of overnight fast). Then you have your full breakfast and take blood sugar readings after one and two hours.
For a non-diabetic person:
FBS should be 100 or less.
1 hr post-meal should be 140 or less.
2 hr post meal should be 120 or less.
It is not correct to assess the risk level based on a single blood test result.
Undergo HbA1c test.

Even Hba1c is not able to determine nitty gritty of the BS .. once a week try to check your BS after 1 hour of meal .. if it is less than 140 then it should be fine.
Remember the rule
Fasting below 90
PP after 1 hour < 140
PP after 2 hour < 120
Anything above 140 starts damaging body.
