I have been diagnosed 6 months back. Was on medication for three months. As per doctor advice tapered the medication and completely off it. I am monitoring every alternate day and regularly meeting the doctor too. I have got a great job opportunity that requires me to regularly travel in India and abroad. Has anyone had the experience of being in a travel job and still being able to manage diabetes correctly. Please share your experiences

Yes, I am one of the biggest traveller. Diabetus has nothing to do with your travel, probably, if you travel more, you work more and sugar level becomes less. I am sure of this aspect in my case.
I am a diabetic since 1988. When I was detected being diabetic I was having a job involving extensive touring for about 15 to 3 20 days every month out tour. However on tour I was particular about maintaining my daily exercise (Morning Jog/ walk) and my diet schedule as prescribed by Doctor. I could maintain my blood sugar in normal limits without medicine. Travelling is no problem provided you maintain exercise, diet and medicines schedule as prescribed, if any. You have to be very strict about it and integrate it in your tour schedule. Ensure reducing your carbohydrate intake
