is generally prescribed in initial stages of diabetes 2 when it is marginally mild.It dos not work in case the disorder is full blown to high BSL

Glizid 500 is a combination of gliclazide 30mg and Metformin 500mg.gliclazide is sulphonylurea group which cause hypo .so a combo is better.Better consult a diabetologist.But if you control your carb then you can be drugfree also.Thanks.
