Frequent Urination

I checked my sugar it was 109 mg/dl but still i am experiencing frequent urination i one hour i have urinated more than 6 time is this normal or i should consult a doctor ?

You have not mentioned your age and whether you are a diabetic. There are many causes for frequent urination.

I'm 18 years old and I'm a diabetic.

Welcome to the group. Are you type 1? Do you drink lots of water?

Using the restroom in that time span may be the result that your numbers are higher, but it could also be because of another reason, as well. Please check with your doctor to be on the safe side....

no i am type 2 and 2 weeks earlier i did my full body check up and everything was normal

Sometimes, when a person goes to the doctor's oneday and then a few days or weeks later, things can change. Can you please call the doctor and schedule another appointment? Tell them that this had started -------------- (what day?) and you would like to see the doctor since you're diabetic. They may or may not give you a referral for a spcialist, but it's better to check then not at all. Please let us know what you find out.

So , most probably you are type 1. Get your kidney thoroughly examined.

A normal healthy person can urinate up to 6 times per day , that is on an average every two and half hours . If you are diabetic or have some urinary infection that could be more . Under the influence of some drugs also excess urination takes place .

If diabetes is excluded, the other possibilities are urinary infection or prostrate problem. Please see the many symptoms given in the net reg urinary problems. Urine test and scan will conclude the diagnosis. In any case drink lot of water. Also the homeo medicine KBS of soham foundation is very useful for all urinary and kidney problems.
