The Cure for Type 2 Diabetes
Trans fat causes diabetes? Let us know how you get on cure.
Dear MikePollard d I searched the post till end....was eagerly looking for your comment..since said link is from diabetes.co.uk site....
Unfortunately could not find your valuable comment there... May be I missed the same....(my bad luck )
a humble request..plz guide me to your comment on said post....
if so far not posted.... plz post....
Wish you all the best
I read the post cure and whilst I agree trans fats are appallingly dangerous you would be hard pressed to find them anywhere now. Falling into much the same category are man made, chemically processed seed oils (the polyunsaturated fats that are promoted as heart healthy). They are easily oxidised and highly inflammatory.
The guy writing the article so authoritatively has this as a hobby horse and is looking to find what has been hidden and not been discovered until he hit on it. His background of illness and mental instability adds nothing to his argument.
I operate on the 'keep it simple' principle and 'if it isn't broken, don't fix it'. So far keeping sugar and carbohydrate to a minimum as a therapy for T1T2 diabetes hasn't been broken yet, so that's where my money would go were I a betting man.
Interesting post nonetheless cure, thanks for posting.
Hi Mike thanks for your comment , but I could not follow your principle
"I operate on the 'keep it simple' principle and 'if it isn't broken, don't fix it'. So far keeping sugar and carbohydrate to a minimum as a therapy for T1T2 diabetes hasn't been broken yet, so that's where my money would go were I a betting man."
could you please explain what you mean by this statement?
Which is the best treatment method for T2 Diabetic ?
Allopathy, Homeopathy, Siddha, Ayurvedic ? and am worried about one thing that except naturopathy, we all depend on value of blood sugar level as the base. What is the right value and how to test this. Test result changes from lab to lab with different reagents. If we ask any doctors they say go with the same lab for consistent value. This is looking like monopoly and also business continuity for the medical industry.
And one thing which we need to focus here is, "Body Constitution" - If every human being is unique and different, there patters of metabolic activity will also vary for every individual.
My question is - Do we rely on blood sugar value??
very right.... the levels which are given are just pointers.... some one may have 4.8 HBa1c....other may have 5.5 ....so there is variation....
And this variation is for same... but at same time...there is all possibility that above certain level...or below certain level your system will get harm...
So it is best to remain in said limits.....
Like for me.... when I was diagnosed my PP was 398....at this level many ppl will get hospitalized...but for me I was fresh and very active....without any trouble....infact same day I traveled and attended a big fat Indian marriage....
Thanks Anup.
"Test result changes from lab to lab with different reagents"
for expample A1C has different methods, if industry says we may get a variation of 10%, this leads to create more diabetic patients as well. Its a concern on accuracy with variation which is not good.
Though we take diet plan, end of the day we need to cross check this with the blood result.
So, We depend on reliability & trustworthiness, methods etc. for better decision making.
Exactly.... when they brought down fasting sugar level from 126 to 110...many borderline Indians became full diabetic....
In olden days sugar test stripes were not available...
They use to check juts urine with heating and adding some solution....and only if sugar level above 180 u can find trce of sugar in urine... so that time many ppl who are diabetic now days were considered as non diabetic.
very right @anup so whenever we check PPBS at lab they also check our urine for trace of sugar... if there was spike in between lab can detect trace of sugar in urine....
Two hrs readings are useful only for diabetic person as these shows how much sugar in remained to get cleared....so doctor can prescribe right type of medicines....
OGTT readings at 30-60-90-120 mts will be most reliable to tell difference between a diabetic and non diabetic.
Very True,
We need to remain in said Limit...
Who is fixing the limit ? and who are all involved in it is a big question. In India alone 900 Cr Healthcare/Pharma business grew to 1 Lac Cr with in span of 10 years and imagine the rest of the world.
Ayurveda Says there are 20 Diabetic types exist based on Vada, Pitta and Kapha classification. I know one of my cousin who use to have a pp value between 300-400 for the past 20 years. Still she is leading a normal like..
I believe holistic and natural treatment process will result in a good long lasting cure with no side effect
Research says 90% of the disease will be cured if we maintain good Food and lifestyle habits.
very correct...infact there is very strong message from Ayurveda...hitam bhuk, mitam bhuk, ritam bhuk...
Eat what is beneficial to you,eat less, eat as per season.
Now for a diabetic his system is compromised to metabolize carbs...
He should avoid carbs..but again body needs some carbs...so he should find out his beta cells function and insulin resistance thru Homa calculator...(again this is indicative)
He will be allowed to consume carbs in that limit only....then what about his calories??? he can then increase calories in terms of good fats....and he can live normal medicine free life...
This is very simple and most effective way(and ofcoz most scientific) I doubt if any one will disagree with this theory....
True. Balanced Diet for 7 days (with Carb and Fat) + daily half an hour exercise is fine to go...
yes with Less Carb..
+ we should focus on reading - to check we are accurate or precise in value... which is net yet standardized in india..
