No, there is not any ayurvedic remedy for type 1 diabetes.

Unless you accept your condition and embark on a lifetime a dietary and insulin regime you, will die.

Type 1 diabetes is an entirely different scenario to type 2 and you MUST work with your medical professionals.

All of us in this forum are diabetics

Type 1 or type 2

Don't worry.

As a type 1 you cannot stay away from insulin

Since u now cannot produce insulin from pancreas

No issue of any addiction

It's not some alcohol or cigarette

It's vital for your survival

So go back to your dr.

Follow the advise and accept the fact and enjoy life.

All the best.

We are all here to help u further on the diet part.

Dear Vishwas,

Please do not worry or be depressed.

Worrying will not help you in this situation at all.

On the contrary, your increased levels of cortisol (due to worrying) and decreased levels of serotonin ( due to depression) will cause you major health problems.

First things first, get a second opinion or get tested from a different place.

If you are diagnosed as Diabetes Type 1, there is absolutely no need to become depressed or worried about injecting insulin.

A very famous doctor has lived for more than 70 years and he is a Type 1 person and has successfully written a book in simple and lucid language:. Google for ""bernstein diabetes solution"" and read the first website.

Secondly, follow a simple diet which should be low on starch and sugars.

This is very important for you.

Do not worry about any negative comments from anyone, whether your doctor or from people here who are in the habit of chastising others over English usage but are themselves unable to spell the name of a poster correctly.

The best solution for you is to embrace insulin as a friend and a low starch diet as a guiding force.

Please keep us updated about your situation.
