My father checked diabetes yesterday and he got 163fasting and 234 after food. His age is 58.pls tell me where range of diabetes should lie for this age?

Normal BS range does not change by age. Fasting should be < 100 and PP (after food) should be < 145. If you google you will find ton of information.

The Diabetic Patient Range as : Fasting - 70 to 110 and Post -- 110 to 170. Testing is much important. For fasting time must be 10 Hours without eating and drinking anything. I also add for any medical test. Like Eyesight, Hearing and Sugar test. Take 8/10 hours sound sleep.
