It is certain that Pioz does have serious side effects. It is damaging heart and

liver : two vital organs. About bladder cancer , I am not aware. All developed countries have withdrawn the drug and banned it.

Unfortunately doctors in India are prescribing  this medicine and people are consuming .

pioglitazone tablets  is banned in India some years back  and after again it  is marketed and now avilable in medical stores also.

some of the Doctorsalso recomonded this tablet The maximum dose of this tablet is 45 mg

It is  better to used only once ina daily either  afternoon or at  night

It  has some side effects  as you are posted above for someof the persons  and also heavy doses .

But   when metformin is not able to control the blood sugar in liver then this is only the tanblets will help.

if metformin  not works try it with small dose of7.5 mg the lowest dose.  Better with  consult Doctor  and take for some period only

Again, the road to health is not paved with medication.

Mike pollard  I donot know whether you are diabetic or not If you are  diabetic please share jow much year old and how much time you are taken aby drugs what is your diet to control the diabetes    I think  I am asking the same in previous discussion At least now is the best time to share detail          Any allopathic medicine has side effect is common       I am not a medical  salesman to sales pioglitazone  Of course it has  more side effect but it is not for all person However  I am seen the benefit of this tablet  with some of my friend and also some of poor persons  personally.Too much is always danger so after B S  became normal it may be discontinued

Yes, evidence of bladder cancer is surfacing. Same too with the class of drugs called 'gliptins' esp Alogliptin ... say goodbye to meds and replace them with a good diet plan (+ herbal support) which anyway cannot be replaced by meds. Ever since I used rosaglitazone, my heart health - which was excellent previously - got compromised. Luckily I stopped it in time. Recovery from the injury may take ages. You don't want to risk your precious health, do you?

Big Pharma's MO is:  "it's super lucrative bizness keeping you sick and chronically dependent on us for meds." Hence the oft criticism of Big Pharma as the largest "legalized drug cartel in the world."
